Temperzone recently held a hugely successful product and service training seminar in Singapore run by Mark Howcroft and Shane McBride. The training was tailored specifically for internal sales and distribution staff as well as 90 plus consultants and customers from across Asia including Singapore, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam and Hong Kong. The seminar demonstrates Temperzone’s commitment in ensuring that people who sell, install and service their products are fully trained.

The event was organised by the Temperzone Singapore office with General Manager Weng Fei opening the seminar. Special thanks also go to Singapore Sales Engineer Kok Boon Wam, who was instrumental in the organisation of the training sessions.

The first day was a big one starting at 8:30 in the morning and going until 6 that evening for internal sales and distribution staff. The OPA training covered both the product information as well as service training focusing on installation, commissioning and the UC8. After a similarly intensive session on Chilled Water Fan Coil Units and HWP, they participants were able to spend invaluable hands on time with the working displays of the SAT 3 and UC8.

The second day of training saw 90 plus consultants and customers travel from across Asia including Singapore, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam and Hong Kong to attend. It again covered the OPA, Chilled Water Fan Coil Units and HWP but was designed specifically to suit their interest and their markets.

There was also time set aside the next day to give them all time to get to know each other and ask more questions relating specific to their own regions. A great deal of interest was shown in the OPA products from both Indonesia and Sri Lanka for commercial applications as it would suit their building styles perfectly.

This seminar was a great opportunity for Shane and Mark to witness new opportunities for Temperzone, while sharing the vast knowledge they hold between them.

In commercial air conditioning we often focus on just the parts of the year with peak demand for heating and cooling. In much of Australia and New Zealand the air conditioning equipment typically spends much more time operating in the part load conditions than it does at peak heating or cooling loads.

Rapidly changing technology offers many exciting new features that can make our lives easier, but it’s really only effective if we keep up to date with all the changes. So why not make the most of the cooler months and make sure you and all your staff are up to date with all the recent product changes?

Over the years Temperzone News has brought you numerous examples of how well Temperzone units are built to withstand the extreme temperatures in Australia…but this one is a little different. This project isn’t in the middle of the desert or near a corrosive mine somewhere, this one is in Antarctica.

Temperzone understands the importance of not only planning for the futures but also actively working to create a better tomorrow. With this in mind, Temperzone has recently partnered with Ultimo TAFE in Sydney.
